4 Simple Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Ground Beef or Sirloin
  • 1.5 Tablespoons of Jen’s Homemade “Clean” Taco Seasoning (See Recipe Below)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Cup Shredded Mexican Cheese of Your Choice

How to Make: Grilled Turkey Burgers

Simply mix the four ingredients together with hands and form into patties. Then grill and top with your favorite taco topping like more cheese, lettuce, tomato, avocado, salsa and sour cream.

Jen’s “Clean” Taco Seasoning Mix

Jen's Homemade "Clean" Taco Seasoning Mix - So What IF? with Jen

Simply mix together the following spices and store in an airtight container or glass jar with lid:

  • 2 Tablespoons CHILI POWDER
  • 1 Tablespoon GARLIC POWDER
  • 1 Tablespoon ONION POWDER
  • 1 Tablespoon PAPRIKA
  • 1 Tablespoon CUMIN
  • 1 teaspoon each OREGANO and BASIL
  • 1/2 teaspoon each SALT and PEPPER

Why make your own taco seasoning mix? When you make your own seasoning, you can use fresh herbs and spices that are natural and flavorful without any added junk.
