This scrumptious protein powder recipe is packed with plenty of protein and healthy fats.
I love this satisfying dessert snack so much and since I live an intermittent fasting lifestyle it is a great way to end my eating window.
Ingredients
- 2 Small Containers TWO GOOD Vanilla Greek Yogurt
- 1 Scoop Protein Powder (I like Quest – Salted Caramel)
- 1 Scoop Powdered Peanut Butter ( I like Organic PB Fit)
- Large Handful of Berries of Your Choice
- Large Handful of Keto Crunch or any Low-Carb Granola (I like Cinnamon Blueberry)
- 1/2 Cup Lily’s Baking Chips (Salted Caramel is my fav)
- Large Spoonful of Coconut Oil (The Kirkland Brand works great)
Directions
FIRST, in a medium bowl, mix together the yogurt, protein powder, powdered peanut butter, berries and granola.
NEXT, scoop yogurt batter into mini muffin tin wells and freeze for 1-2 hours.
THEN, in a saucepan on low heat, mix together the Lily’s baking chips and the coconut oil and melt until smooth.
FINALLY, using a spoon, dip the protein balls into the saucepan and completely coat with mixture.
Freeze clusters for one more hour and then ENJOY!

In this protein powder recipe, I have used both vanilla and salted caramel flavored protein powder.
Both are delicious, but my favorite is definitely the QUEST SALTED CARAMEL.
#2 Mason Jar Protein Powder Ice Cream
I must say that this protein powder recipe is nothing short of amazing.
It is my husband’s very favorite “healthy” dessert that I make for him.
He says, “babe, it doesn’t taste healthy?”
This stuff is low-sugar, low-carb, loaded with protein and tastes just as good, if not better, than regular ice cream.
Ingredients Needed
For this easy and healthy high protein ice cream recipe you will need the following main ingredients:
- 1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 Tablespoon Low-Carb Keto Sweetener (I like SWERVE – sometimes I use monk fruit)
- 1 Tablespoon Protein Powder of Your Choice (Quest is my Fav and it packs several grams of protein per serving)
- 1 teaspoon Almond or Vanilla Extract
- *Optional: Powdered Peanut Butter (A Great Low-Calorie way to add more protein and flavor)
- *Optional: Handful of Keto Chocolate Chips or Lily’s Baking Chips (Any kind Works – I love Salted Caramel)
- *Optional: A Pinch of Salt
- 16 oz Mason Jar with Lid
Easy Directions
PREP TIME: Total time is about 6 Minutes to mix the ingredients and then you’ll need a little freezing time (3-5 hours.)
FIRST, in a 16 oz mason jar, add 1 Cup Heavy Cream, 1 Tablespoon Low-Carb Sweetener, and 1 Tablespoon Protein Powder.
NEXT, add in a pinch of Salt, Powdered Peanut Butter (optional), one teaspoon Vanilla or Almond Extract and a handful of Lily’s Baking Chips.
THEN, screw the lid on nice and tight and SHAKE continuously for about 5 minutes straight.
FINALLY, Freeze for 3-5 hours. Remove from freezer, let the jar sit on the counter for about 3-5 minutes. Then simply, ENJOY!
How to Make Mason Jar Protein Ice Cream
This is probably the most versatile protein powder recipe.
Feel free to use whatever flavor you want to make this mason jar protein ice cream.
My favorite flavors to use are SALTED CARAMEL, CHOCOLATE Protein Powder and especially CINNAMON CRUNCH.
#3 Salted Caramel Coffee Protein Shakes
This protein powder recipe is very refreshing and is perfect for just about anytime during the day.
It can be whipped up in just a few minutes.
And, don’t worry – it can easily be made with regular or decaf coffee cubes if you are wanting to enjoy your shake later in the day.
Ingredients
- 1.5 Cups Almond Milk (or any nut milk works great)
- 2 Tablespoons QUEST “Salted Caramel” Protein Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Powdered Peanut Butter – I like Organic PB Fit the best
- 1 Tablespoon Organic Coconut Oil – The Kirkland Brand is Great (and cost effective too)
- 3-4 Coffee Ice Cubes (Regular or Decaf Works)

My favorite time to enjoy this icy cold homemade protein shake is right after completing an intense workout on the treadmill, or after returning from a jog around the neighborhood.
If you plan on consuming protein shake recipes regularly, like I do, I would highly suggest that you invest in an extremely efficient food processor or blender.

#4 Jen’s Coco-Choco Protein Keto Fat Bombs
This homemade protein powder recipe is seriously THE BOMB!
These Keto Fat Bombs are low-sugar, low-carb, and packed with plenty of healthy fats and protein.
Oh, and they are beyond delicious too.
I love ending my eating window with 1-2 of these yummy fat bombs.
It truly helps me fast easier and way longer into the next day.
Ingredients
For this amazing ketogenic diet friendly coconut oil fat bomb recipe you will need the following 6 ingredients:
- ORGANIC COCONUT OIL (14 oz jar)
- POWDERED PEANUT BUTTER (2 Tablespoons)
- PROTEIN POWDER (1 Scoop) Any Powder/Flavor of Your Choice – I like QUEST Salted Caramel but they have tons of different flavors.
- KETO CRUNCH MIX (1/4 Cup)- or you can use any low-carb granola mix. I really like THIS ONE.
- LILY’s BAKING CHOCOLATE CHIPS (1/2 Cup)
- SILICONE MINI CUPCAKE PAN or MUFFIN BAKING MOLD (24 Well)
The Keto Crunch adds even more protein intake while giving these fat bombs just the right amount of crunch.
Easy Directions
FIRST, In a small saucepan, MELT the organic virgin coconut oil and the Lily’s Baking Chips on low heat – These are such a great keto-friendly sweetener.
NEXT, Once the coconut oil and baking chips are completely melted ADD IN the powdered peanut butter and protein powder. Stir until smooth.
THEN, POUR mixture (almost to the top of each well) into the silicone molds. SPRINKLE each bomb with a little Keto Crunch or Low-Carb Granola.
FINALLY, FREEZE for 2-3 hours and then ENJOY!

- TIP #1: After the fat bombs are frozen, I like to pop them out of the mold. I then keep them in a ziplock bag or an airtight container in the freezer. Then, I can simply grab 1-2 of them to enjoy at the end of my eating window each day!
- TIP #2: Feel free to add even more nutritional goodness to this recipe by throwing in a little cocoa powder, or better yet, cacao powder to these easy keto fat bombs.
- TIP #3: Finally, a really easy way to make this yummy fat bomb recipe “extra keto-friendly” is to add in a little mct oil.
#5 Peanut Butter Coco-Chip Protein Yogurt
I probably should have listed this protein powder recipe as my number 1 on this list.
I started making this dessert when I started out on my weight loss journey in January of 2021.
Greek Yogurt Dessert
Fast forward 4 years and my husband and I still have this for our nightly healthy dessert several times a week.
I love it! This healthy and delicious dessert absolutely helped me lose 46 pounds in 4 months.
Easy Directions
FIRST, simply empty one container of Two Good Greek Yogurt (any flavor-I love Coconut) into a small bowl.
THEN, add in one Tablespoon of powdered peanut butter, a handful of LILYS BAKING CHIPS and a handful of LOW SUGAR, LOW CARB GRANOLA.
FINALLY, mix all ingredients together and top with some fresh berries and real whipped cream! YUM!
*Additionally, flax seeds and chia seeds make great healthy additions to this dessert, as well.

- 1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil – I like the Organic Kirkland Brand

Feel free to add almond butter in place of the powdered peanut butter and macadamia or almond milk instead of coconut milk to this creamy protein shake if you wish.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, this homemade protein powder recipe SO MUCH!
When I am having a serious sweet tooth attack – this is the healthy dessert that seems to save me every time.

This protein powder mug cake only takes a mug and a few minutes to whip up.
It almost feels too good to be true.
This healthy, low-carb, and protein packed dessert truly tastes like real birthday cake without all of the extra added sugar.
Ingredients
For this basic Muscle Mug Cake Recipe you will need:
- 3 Tablespoons Almond Flour – or you can also use Coconut Flour
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1 Tablespoon low-carb sweetener (like Swerve)
- 1 Egg (Beaten)
- 1-2 Tablespoons Melted Butter
- 1 Tablespoon Sour Cream or Greek Yogurt
- Your very favorite mug
Directions
FIRST, grab your very favorite microwave-safe mug.
NEXT, mix wet ingredients (egg, butter, sour cream/Greek Yogurt) together in the mug.
THEN, add in dry ingredients (almond flour, baking powder, sweetener) and stir together well.
FINALLY, microwave for 90 seconds. Remove from microwave and let it cool for a few minutes.
Top with fun toppings of your choice including: fresh berries, protein powder, whipped cream, baking chips and more!
How to Make a Mug Cake in 90 Seconds
Depending on the protein powder that you choose to use, your muscle mug cake can literally be any yummy flavor that you want.
My absolute favorites are PEANUT BUTTER, SALTED CARAMEL and CHOCOLATE Protein Powder.
If you are in the mood for some extra chocolate flavoring, cocoa powder or cacao powder are always great additions.
And since Cacao is a bit healthier than Cocoa Powder, I often stick to adding Cacao Powder to my Protein Mug Cake.

And, it can be made in less than five minutes.
Between the protein powder and the macadamia nuts, the protein content is truly off the charts.
The nutty flavor and natural sweetness of this favorite recipe instantly satisfies my taste buds.
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Dry Roasted Macadamia Nuts (I like to buy mine from ALDI Foods)
- 1 TBS Powdered Peanut Butter (You can find some really great powdered peanut butter here)
- 1 Tablespoon Organic Coconut Oil (I like the Kirkland brand)
- 1-2 Tablespoons QUEST Salted Caramel Protein Powder (You can find it HERE)
Directions
FIRST, add the Macadamia Nuts to a food processor. I use my Ninja and it works perfect.
NEXT, Pulse the nuts for several seconds.
THEN, add in the remaining ingredients: Powdered Peanut Butter, Coconut Oil and Protein Powder.
FINALLY, Pulse again until smooth. YUM!

These pops are seriously so easy to make: Greek Yogurt, Berries, and Protein Powder – that’s it!
MIX together one container of Greek Yogurt with a large handful of berries, and a scoop of protein powder.
BLEND ingredients together in a blender or food processor. POUR into popsicle molds.
FREEZE and ENJOY!

Simply add a scoop of POWDERED PEANUT BUTTER along with a scoop of PROTEIN POWDER of your choice to a small container of protein packed GREEK YOGURT.

And that is because these recipes are versatile and you should feel free to use the protein powder that you love the most.
These high protein desserts and meal replacement recipes are delicious when they are made with flavored or unflavored protein powder, as well as whey protein powder, plant-based protein powder, or even vegan protein powder.
