You are going to love these Garlic Parmesan Jicama Fries. Jicama, a root vegetable, is a low-carb, healthy alternative to the potato. And, if you’re addicted to greasy fast food french fries, try making up a batch of these instead.
You’ll be able to pass by the golden arches with ease.
Ingredients
You only need a few simple ingredients for this recipe including:
- 2 Medium Jicamas
- 2-3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 Tablespoons Paprika
- 1 Tablespoons Garlic Powder
- 1 Cup Parmesan Cheese
- Salt and Pepper
Directions
FIRST, begin by peeling 2 medium jicamas, then cut into thin strips.
NEXT, boil jicamas in a large pot of water for about 25 minutes. Drain and pat dry with paper towel.
THEN, place jicama strips into a large bowl and add in olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and one cup Parmesan Cheese. Mix together well.
FINALLY, place fries in a single layer in 400 degree air fryer for 12 minutes flipping halfway through. Make fries in batches. Let cool for a few minutes and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce.
